PM Kisan: 4 Updates Before 24th Installment

Ahead of the 24th installment of PM Kisan, some important changes have been made to the portal. Farmers can now update incomplete information, change their mobile numbers, and view the contact information of state and district-level nodal officers online.

PM Kisan Yojana 24th Installment: Millions of farmers are waiting for the 24th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM Kisan). The official release date for the installment has not yet been announced. However, before the installment arrives, several important features have been made available to farmers on the PM Kisan portal. These features allow farmers to complete incomplete information from home, change their mobile numbers, and even find relevant officials in case of any issues related to the scheme.

If a farmer’s PM Kisan information is incomplete, there’s no need to rush to offices to get it corrected. The portal provides an option to update missing information. Farmers must visit the PM Kisan portal and select this option. They must then enter their Aadhaar number or registration number and a captcha to search. The farmer’s incomplete information will appear on the screen. The required information can then be entered and submitted online.

You can also update your new mobile number.

Many farmers change their mobile numbers or link a new number to their Aadhaar. In such cases, it may be necessary to update the mobile number in their PM Kisan records. The Update Mobile Number option on the portal can be used to search for the record by entering the Aadhaar number or registration number and a captcha. The new mobile number can then be updated by filling in the requested information.

If you are not eligible, you can return the money.

If an individual later discovers that they are not eligible for the PM Kisan Yojana, but installment payments are still being credited to their account, the portal also offers an online refund facility. This option requires entering your registration number or Aadhaar number and captcha number and clicking on “Get OTP.” The refund process can then be completed according to the instructions provided on the portal.

In case of any problem, you will get information about the officer

If a problem related to PM Kisan is not resolved, farmers can directly contact the concerned official. The portal provides a Search your Point of Contact (POC) option. For information on state-level officials, you can view State Nodal Contact Details. For district-specific problems, you can use the Search District Nodal option. Farmers can select their state and district to view the relevant official’s name, phone number, and email address.
